Your in-home massage therapist in Lanzarote and La Graciosa

FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions

In Lanzarote, you can have the treatment in a massage room in the town of Costa Teguise. In La Graciosa, the treatment must always take place at the client’s home, hotel, or apartment.

I’ll need some space to set up the treatment table and move around it. An area of about 2×3 meters should be enough.

Throughout the island of Lanzarote and on the island of La Graciosa.

Generally, the service is available all day, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. It may also be available after 9:00 p.m., subject to availability and at a different rate. On La Graciosa, the schedule may vary depending on the date the massage is booked.

We offer relaxing massages, muscle-relaxing massages, leg relief massages, deep tissue massages, manual lymphatic drainage, and the Bowen technique.

Each massage session lasts between 45 and 60 minutes. It is also possible to schedule a longer massage session by making arrangements in advance.

It depends on where and when it takes place. Typically, massage sessions are priced as follows:

Massages can provide a number of benefits, such as reducing stress and anxiety, relieving muscle and joint pain, improving blood circulation, strengthening the immune system, and promoting better sleep.

Yes, of course. It’s also a great idea, since having more time will allow me to give you a more thorough massage by focusing on the areas where you need it most, or to combine different techniques in the same session.

It’s normal to feel some discomfort or pressure during a massage, especially if you’re getting a massage to relieve muscle tension or for deep-tissue work. However, you should always let your massage therapist know if you feel any intense or uncomfortable pain during the session.

No special preparation is required before a massage. We do recommend drinking enough water to stay hydrated and avoiding a heavy meal before your massage session.

– Skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, or herpes

– Recent injuries such as fractures, sprains, or muscle tears. You must wait until the injury has completely healed before receiving a massage. In these cases, manual lymphatic drainage may be performed to help eliminate any swelling caused by the injury(ies), provided that a medical professional approves it.

– Serious circulatory problems, such as deep vein thrombosis or phlebitis

– Heart diseases such as congestive heart failure or angina

– Fever or active infections.

These are some of the most common contraindications. It is important to consult a healthcare professional before receiving any type of massage, especially if you have a preexisting medical condition that could pose a risk.

Yes, of course you can. It’s recommended that you wait until the end of the first trimester of pregnancy to avoid certain risk factors.

It depends on many factors. Generally speaking, a massage about once every two weeks is a good frequency. Here, we would apply the saying, “Prevention is better than cure.”
